Earth and steel work on the stretch from Lille Selskær to Pottehuse

Evida hereby has the pleasure of offering earth and steel work in connection with the construction of 17400 meters of 8" (219.1 x 5.3 mm) steel pipeline in connection with the establishment of distribution pipeline between Lille Selskær and Pottehuse.

Biogas production from eg. Sode biogas plants have increased, and have meant that the biogas cannot be sold in the local distribution and distribution network. This has led to Evida's decision that the excess biogas via steel pipeline 423 is transported to the existing valve arrangement in Lille Selskær. From here, a new 17400-metre steel line will be constructed in 40 bar to the existing valve group in Potted Houses. This means that steel lines 422 and 423 will be connected to steel lines 420 and 421 in the future.

Delivery of steel pipes for the project is expected in December 2022 or January 2023.

The start of the construction period is therefore dependent on the pipe delivery and must be completed by 1 June 2023 at the latest.

The main points of the contract:

- Welding, NDT control, coating (tape winding) and assistance in laying approx. 17,400 meters of steel wire (219.1 * 8.18 mm), as well as forming 5 cold bends.

- cleaning, pressure testing and drying of conversion.

- cutting, fitting and mounting welding for coupling to existing 8" steel line,

- Establishment of a construction site with shed and crew facilities for all contractors.

- earthworks including mulda seeding, excavation and filling and restoration, as well as laying of 17,400 metres of 8" steel pipeline, including 3,540 metres of controlled sub-drilling.

- Excavation and excavation, filling and restoration of work pits for assembly welds and work pits for connecting conversion to existing 8" steel pipeline
