The main tasks include:

- the audit of the (consolidated) annual accounts of NV Westerscheldetunnel in accordance with the legal provisions of Title 9 of Book 2 of the Dutch Civil Code and the Guidelines for Annual Reporting, issued by the Council for Annual Reporting, including the issuance of an audit report on the veracity of the annual accounts;

- preparing and submitting annual accounts in SBR format for the purpose of. Chamber of Commerce;

- Drawing up an auditor's report, the concept to be discussed during the supervisory board meeting.

The new contract has a term of 4 financial years with for the NV Westerscheldetunnel twice the possibility of an option to extend for 1 financial year (in total a maximum of 6 years).

The intended effective date of the contract is 1 June 2023. The contract covers the financial years 2023 to 2026 and, in the case of (twice) extension, also the financial years 2027 and 2028.
