Medical Services In Custody and Sexual Offence Examination
1.1 The Police and Crime Commissioner for Nottinghamshire wishes to undertake a compliant EU tender exercise to establish a regional Framework Agreement for the purchase of Medical Services in Custody and Sexual Offence Examination for a period of 4 years (for all Lots) from 1.6.2016. The primary requirement is for Nottinghamshire Police and its specific delivery models are included within lots 1-3.
Other named forces within the East Midlands may choose to use the Framework Agreement in the future and award call-off contracts via mini-competition under lots 4-6. In respect of lots 1-3 the Police and Crime Commissioner for Nottinghamshire intends to award a single call-off contract or 2 call-off contracts via direct award. The Police and Crime Commissioner will decide upon whether to award a call-off contract for a combination of medical services in custody and sexual offence examination services or separate call-off contracts for these services after receipt of the tenders. The award of the call-off contracts will be made on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.
For the avoidance of doubt no work is guaranteed under the Framework Agreement.
This Framework Agreement is also intended to allow for innovation.
