The TMB plant in Battipaglia operates a mechanical-biological treatment of undifferentiated urban waste (EER 20.03.01) from the collection carried out in the Province of Salerno, by virtue of the Integrated Environmental Authorization, adopted by Executive Decree of the Regional Council of Campania n. 190 of 11.8.2015 and subsequent amendments. The processing consists of a shredding for the separation of the dry fraction from the wet one. In particular, the dry fraction tritovagliata (FST) produced is packaged in bales, the packaging takes place through a pressing, a binding with iron wire and a subsequent filming with plastic stretch film. The subject matter of this procedure concerns the iron wire used for binding bales.

The total quantities, covered by this contract, to be supplied in the estimated 12 months, correspond to 270,000 Kg (two hundred and seventy thousand/00 kilograms)
