The winning bidder of this tender will be contracted to carry out the servicing and maintenance works to lightning protection systems and mansafe systems.
During the course of the contract the contractor may be required to carry out lightning protection stock condition surveys on and produce an up to date compliant asset register. Where a site is found not to have a lightning protection system in place, the contractor may be required to produce a lightning protection risk assessment report.

The contractor may also be requested to complete new installations of lightning protection and fall arrest systems.
The winning bidder of this tender will be contracted to carry out the servicing and maintenance works to lightning protection systems and fall arrest systems.
Anchor Hanover’s national lightning protection servicing and maintenance programme currently consists of approximately 170 locations across England.
The contractor will be required to carry out servicing on an 11 monthly basis. Anchor Hanover’s national fall arrest servicing and maintenance programme consists of approximately 25 locations. The contractor will be required to carry out fall arrest servicing on a 12 monthly basis. In addition to the servicing works the contractor will also provide maintenance/remedial works to maintain the systems over the course of the contract during the course of the contract the contractor may be required to carry out lightning protection stock condition surveys and produce an up to date compliant asset register. Where a site is found not to have a
lightning protection system in place, the contractor may be required to produce a lightning protection risk assessment report. The contractor may be requested to install new systems following the outcome of a risk assessment.
