specifications
The free-standing structure consists of two single-span gymnasiums arranged one above the other and four floors with serving rooms (changing rooms, sanitary, equipment and technical rooms, etc.), with two floors each assigned to a gymnasium.
On the south side is the staircase in front, on the intermediate landings there are further sanitary rooms. On the north side, there is an external steel staircase as the second structural escape route from the upper gymnasium.
The free-standing gymnasium is located in Mannheim-Neckarau and was built as a reinforced concrete skeleton structure in 1962.
Trade HVAC systems
On the 3rd floor of the gymnasium, a control center for a new HVAC unit or a sub-center for the heating installations will be built.
During the planning phase, care was taken to ensure that ventilation ducts that run across fire compartments are equipped with appropriate fire dampers, using maintenance-free BSKs as far as permissible.
For mechanical ventilation of the gym adjoining rooms, an HVAC unit with a therm. Air treatment planned.
The device design complies with the applicable ErP guidelines. Ancillary rooms are approached via a centrally located shaft.
