The overall objective of the call for tenders is to outsource the set-up of an end-to-end system and service demonstration of the Search and Rescue / Galileo (SAR/Galileo) Return Link Service (RLS) Two Way Communication (TWC) services. As part of its set-up, it includes the design and development of two prototypes of Second-Generation Beacon (SGB) for maritime applications – Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB) – and of a demonstration platform.
