To provide the provision of intensive transport services to the North West and North Wales Intensive Care Transport Services and the Connect North West Neonatal Transport Service.

The North West and North Wales Paediatric Transport Service (NWTS) provides a single team operating a 24/7/365 service. NWTS transfer critically sick and/or injured children to the regional Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). On occasion there may be a requirement to transport patients from or to hospitals outside of the geographical area.

Connect North West Neonatal Service (CNW) provides a single team operating 24/7/265 service and transfers critically sick babies to or from all of the neonatal units in the NW region. On occasion there may be a requirement to transport patients from or to hospitals outside of the geographical area.
