Virtualization Platform - Delivery, Installation and Commissioning

The solution is an integrated, highly automated platform that provides separate scaling of processing and storage tiers. All tasks related to the operation of mass storage, infrastructure processes, the implementation of data protection (backup), high availability (HA) and disaster prevention (DR) must be hardware-accelerated – in particular, RAM, CPU and physical network resources (NIC) of virtualization servers are to be dedicated exclusively to support production applications.

The storage tier must be a flash-optimized Log Structure Array (LSA) with 10/25 interfaces for data sharing and an internal NVme bus based on PCI v4.0.

All network layer devices: storage, network adapters (NICs) and switches that are connected to each other in the network as part of the solution are to support lossless operations (so-called Loosless Networking).

By Matrix the Ordering Party means a set of media for data storage supported by dedicated array controllers (without additional intermediate devices, virtualization servers, virtualization software, etc.), accelerated by at least two levels of cache: DRAM and optionally SCM. All components of an HCI solution must be sourced from a single manufacturer, with the proviso that OEM products are treated as proprietary if the manufacturer provides support for at least L1 and L2 levels for all solution components.

Compliance with the above requirements must be documented in publicly available manufacturer's materials.

The matrix must be on the support lists and support major operating systems and clusters, including: Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022, VMware 6.7/7.0, Linux (Centos 7.x, SUSE12, Redhat 7.x) and Unix (Solaris, Aix, HP-UX).

Software for path switching and load balancing of individual paths must be provided for these operating systems. Software for an unlimited number of servers is required. Solutions based on the native capabilities of operating systems are preferred. In the case of using company/own solutions - their certification for the following platforms is required: Windows 2019+, Linux RedHat 7.x+, Suse12+, VMware 6.7+.

Support for these operating and cluster systems must be confirmed by an entry on the publicly available list of compatibility manufacturers.

If additional end-user licenses are required to implement the above functionalities, they must be provided for the maximum number of servers/capacities supported by the offered device.
