Through this assignment, VLAIO gives its management role within the ecosystem for supporting (candidate) entrepreneurs and companies a more structured shape, while at the same time giving the executive players the necessary freedom about its implementation. All this in function of more, sustainable and growing entrepreneurship.

The assignment includes offering services to prospective entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and companies within four plots. Within each of the four plots, several contract holders can be appointed.

Plots

The contract is divided into four lots:

- lot 1: thorough guidance for prestarters (feasibility, repayment capacity, Personal Development Plan). This plot is aimed at a maximum of 3 service providers;

- lot 2: guidance of entrepreneurs and companies at tipping points in their operation (start-up, growth, succession and acquisition, financing, internationalisation). This plot is aimed at a maximum of 5 service providers;

- lot 3: integrated selective guidance for ambitious startups and scale-ups. This plot is aimed at a maximum of 5 service providers;

- lot 4: initiatives to support productivity improvement and making business operations more sustainable (accelerated adoption of technological innovations). This plot is aimed at a maximum of 15 service providers.

In this first step of the procedure, one can apply for one or more plots. The candidate shall indicate the lot or lots for which he is applying on the application form for participation.
