Nordlandsnett AS invites tenderers to an open tender contest for a Framework Agreement for the procurement of electricity. As part of the procurement of electricity, the tenderer will have balance responsibility on behalf of the Contracting Authority. This service is included in the Framework Agreement and it is a prerequisite for the turnover of electricity for the Contracting Authority.

The Framework Agreement will be valid for 2 years, with an option for 1 + 1 year. I.e., the contract's maximum length will be 4 years.

The Framework Agreement will also have an option for the procurement electricity certificates.

The aim of the procurement is to enter into a Framework Agreement for the procurement of electricity. The Framework Agreement will be used for electricity that will cover the loss of energy that occurs during transport through the transmission network. In addition, the Energy Act § 3-3 states that network companies are obliged to add new customers to the network and deliver electricity to consumer customers. This delivery obligation for electricity is also included in the Framework Agreement. The energy volume for network loss in the regional network, distribution network and delivery obligation is estimated to be 45 000, 60 000 and 9 000 MWh per annum respectively.

In addition, an option is wanted for the procurement of electricity certificates that will cover the quota obligation for the energy delivery obligation.
