Salix Homes Limited is an award winning social housing provider based in Salford, Greater Manchester. It is a not for profit organisation and is responsible for approximately 8 500 properties.

Salix Homes intends to procure and award a contract for mould eradication services, the scope of which includes diagnosis, treatment, redecoration and biocidal fogging of specified areas within properties.

The service must be delivered in accordance with the response times set out within Document B (Specification). The services may be required and must be available 365 days a year.

Attention is drawn to Living Wage requirements of both Lots, the details of which are clearly set out within Clause 28 of Document E (Conditions of Contract).

Salix Homes intends to procure and award a contract, for mould eradication services, the scope of which includes diagnosis, treatment, redecoration and biocidal fogging of specified areas within properties.

The successful contractor will be required to undertake a 3 stage mould eradication process:

Stage 1: Eradication of mould;

Stage 2: Application of fungicidal barrier;

Stage 3: Decorative finish.

Salix Homes may also have a requirement for the successful contractor to undertake biocidal fogging within properties or a 4 stage mould eradication process.
