Leeds Bradford Airport (‘LBA’) is currently upgrading its main runway AGL. As part of that upgrade, LBA seeks to purchase suitable Light Emitting Diodes (LED) light fittings, for others to install outside of this procurement, for the main runway AGL and some taxiways. LBA expects that it will require approximately 950 light fittings and may accept phased call off / delivery to coincide with a phased installation period of 2-3 years.

The fittings will be required to comply with International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) requirements for Edge, Approaches, Threshold, Touchdown, Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) and Centreline AGL. Fittings are to be manufactured and delivered directly to LBA for ‘free issue’ to install contractors.

LBA intends to use the terms set out in NEC 3 Supply Contract (April 2013) in respect of this procurement.
