Verkehrs-Aktiengesellschaft is planning to set up further charging infrastructure and covered parking spaces for eBuses in the Jaeckelstraße bus depot. For this purpose, a canopy presented to the main building is provided, which is to be extensively greened and equipped with a roof PV system. The transformers and switchgear will be installed in an existing green strip and will be provided as compensation with green roofs and façade greening.
This award package includes the installation of the fire extinguishing systems (dry extinguishing water technology).
In the course of the reconstruction of the central bus depot at Jaeckelstraße 5 in 90441 Nuremberg, extinguishing water systems will be provided for individual fire compartments.
A dry extinguishing system will be set up for use by the fire brigade. Coordination with the responsible fire brigade and the fire protection expert on the system structure has taken place.
Four systems will be set up, separately for each fire compartment.
The feeds will be provided on a fire-by-fire compartment basis on the outer façade near the respective entrances to the sections.
The main pipes are routed directly into the building from the outside above the feeds and initially run from the feed-in point to the floor ceiling. On the ceiling, the pipes are routed on a slope to the tapping point, which are then connected from above.
A stainless steel pipe system with press connections is provided as the pipe material.
The emptying of the installation is carried out from the high points partly outwards via the feed-in points.
However, each tapping point, including the supply line from the high point, represents a low point and therefore receives automatic hydraulic discharge.
In the high points of the pipeline route, ventilation valves are provided.
