The object of the contract is project management services for the measure “New indoor pool Wenden” described in more detail in Section II.2.4). All project stages and areas of action should be described in accordance with the “project management performance profile”, as described in chapter 2 § 2 of the book “Project Management Services in the Construction and Real Estate Industry” prepared by the AHO commission “Project Control/Project Management” (AHO publication series no. 9; 5th edition March 2020) , can be ordered.

The municipality of Wenden intends to build an indoor swimming pool at the comprehensive school in Wenden. A functional bathroom is planned, which will have a 25-meter swimming pool. A cost target of 9.88 million euros (KG 200-700, net without VAT) is set.

The location of the new indoor pool is located on the edge of the central town of the municipality of Wenden, in the immediate vicinity of the Wenden Comprehensive School. The new swimming pool is intended to increase the attractiveness of the comprehensive school location as well as the entire central location.

The plan is to initially have the project planned by a general planner up to service phase 3 and then to commission further planning and subsequent execution to a general contractor on the basis of a functional performance description. In addition to preliminary and draft planning, the task of the general planner should also be to prepare joint venture allocation (performance phase 6, in particular the preparation of the functional performance description) and to participate in the corresponding award procedure (service phase 7). In addition to basic AHO services, the project management task also includes individual special services, in particular in connection with commissioning the general planner first and then the general contractor.
