North Lincolnshire has awarded the framework for Home Care Support Framework

The primary aim of the Home Care Support Services is to promote the maintenance of children and young people within their own family where additional support is required to achieve the parenting task or to promote the social stability of the family.

The outcomes of the Home Care Support Services will be clearly identified on each child or young person's Care Plan. They could include helping the child or young person:

— To provide practical support to parent carers.

— To support restoration back into the family network.

— To maintain the current levels of physical, mental and social well-being where improvement is not envisaged.

— To contribute to the emotional and social well being of the child or young person.
