The objective of the tender notice is to award a contract to a supplier for the supply of power. The power shall cover the loss of energy that occurs during the transport of power in the transmission grid system. Power rid companies are in the Energy Act § 3-3 required to supply power to consumer customers, either new or without a power supplier. This delivery obligation for power is also included in the contract. The Supplier is obliged to cover the Contracting Authority's needs for grid loss and power subject to delivery obligation.

The scope of the contract consists of delivery of power for grid loss and delivery obligation to Arva in Nordland, for the period 01.09.22 to 31.12.23. This constitutes an estimated total volume of 148 GWh for grid losses and 10.5 GWh for delivery obligations. The Supplier shall function as balance settlement responsible on behalf of the Contracting Authority.
