The PD – Berater der öffentlichen Hand GmbH advises municipalities and relevant public actors with regard to school digitization and administrative digitization. This includes, for example, the conception of IT strategies, the expansion of the technical infrastructure in schools and municipalities, the procurement of mobile devices, the creation of municipal IT framework planning and media development planning or the development of IT service and support concepts. The aim of the consultations is to support school authorities in the context of the digitisation of the school landscape. With regard to the framework agreement, the services to be provided can also be called up for other PD projects in the subject area "Digitization in the school system". Furthermore, individual consultations in the field of IT for municipalities may also be part of the scope of services.

The focus of the award procedure is on the development and evaluation of (online) surveys and interview guidelines.
