In the coming years, the client plans to migrate existing NetApp storage environments to new systems, replace existing systems, expand existing systems, and extend maintenance for existing systems. For this purpose, a framework agreement is to be concluded with a contractor, which includes the required products and services.

The aim of the project is to establish powerful and scalable solutions that meet the high requirements in terms of operational reliability, operability and functionality in a heterogeneous environment, taking into account the dynamics of the systems to be integrated and the constantly increasing amounts of data. These aspects are also due to the desired form of a framework contract, which enables the client to procure further systems at short notice over the term of time in accordance with the respective current needs.

The client plans an initial flat-rate retrieval of a storage system solution as well as further retrievals within the term of the contract. The following services are required within the call-offs:

- Delivery of storage system components and SAN switches on demand

- Installation of systems and components and integration into the client's existing IT infrastructure

- Maintenance and support services to maintain operation

- Services as required to further develop the system

The client attaches great importance to functional, high-performance, highly available and operational complete solutions that are provided by the contractor on time.

As a result of this tender, a framework contract based on VOL/B and EVB-IT system supply contract for the procurement of the products and services mentioned is to be concluded between Mobil ISC GmbH, hereinafter referred to as client (AG), and a bidder, hereinafter also referred to as contractor (AN).

Mobil ISC GmbH operates environments for its customers in which SAP systems are provided. By virtualizing SAP services as well as Oracle applications and database services, a better and more flexible server utilization is achieved. The data and systems are stored on several storage systems of the manufacturer NetApp.

In order to ensure a stable supplier relationship with defined periods of provision on demand and to secure calculable purchase conditions as well as to define the scope of services to be provided by the supplier, it is planned to conclude a framework contract agreement for NetApp components and system-related services with a contractor in which the corresponding contractual conditions are laid down. The aim of this framework contract is to regulate the basic services and conditions as well as the mutual rights and obligations for individual orders (individual orders) that are issued in the course of the contract period. Rules and processes are also defined that allow the agreements to be adapted to the expected development, taking into account the specific individual needs of the client.

In addition, it is the intention of Mobil ISC GmbH to connect the initial flat-rate call (= minimum call-off quantity) of storage systems and services with the conclusion of the framework agreement, since there is already a concrete deadline requirement for this requirement. Within this call-off, the following services are to be called up by the contractor within a work contract project and implemented by him:

Initialabruf (Mindestabrufmenge)

- Provision of a 2-node cluster based on NetApp FAS2750 HA

- Maintenance services for deployed 2-node clusters

Furthermore, the client will carry out at least one further call-off, which includes the maintenance extension for an existing NetApp AFF A700 MetroCluster.
