The entertainment association "Untere Bode" in Borne is planning the renaturation of the Geesgraben near Klein Wanzleben as part of the implementation of the EU WFD. In order to ensure ecological continuity, dams are to be removed, isolated ecologically continuous bottom slides are to be achieved, shading of the water is to be carried out by planting and natural interfering elements are to be arranged.

This contract includes services for:

The section of the Geesgraben to be planned is about 16 km long. The project consists of 22 individual measures in two stages of implementation.100% of the project is financed by funding from the Rural Development Programme (RDP) of the State of Saxony-Anhalt. The funding and implementation period ends in November 2024.

Completion dates (audited final invoice construction) are agreed for stage 1 of 31.10.2023 and for stage 2 of 31.10.2024.

The assignment takes place in phases due to the financing reservation. With phase 1, all services for planning preparation, procurement of the planning bases and the service phases LPH 2 to 7 are commissioned with the signing of the contract depending on the requirements in the individual measures. With the optional phase 2, all services for construction will continue to be commissioned.
