The framework agreement includes continuous modification and repair aboard the ships, including new installations. Typically, this type of work must be carried out quickly and efficiently so that the readiness of ships is affected at least possible. As a result, mechanical and electrical technical assistance from outside firms is needed, which is initiated at short notice when the need arises. In addition, part of the work is carried out in collaboration with other artisan competencies, such as painters, insulators, scaffolding workers and crane drivers. For this tender, it is possible to bid for one or more of a total of 4 different framework agreements (lots). These four agreements include the following: Agreement covering electrical work in East Denmark, agreement covering blacksmithing work in East Denmark, agreement covering power works in Western Denmark and agreement covering blacksmithing work in Western Denmark. The precise geographical scope is described in the individual framework agreements. Each agreement will be assigned to 3 actors based on the cascade principle- see VI 3) “Further information”.
Electricity work on Naval Vessels in Eastern DenmarkThe performance consists of mechanical modification works -electric work- on naval vessels in East Denmark as well as associated access workers. Access workers are defined as activities which enable the primary modifications of steel or aluminum in the hull and/or superstructure of the ship, i.e. disassembly of components and cables, which are in the way of the work and removal and reassembly of insulation and paint. In addition, the framework agreement must include derivative work activities necessary to carry out the electrical work itself, i.e. the installation of scaffolding and crane assistance, etc. At the time of conclusion of the Framework Agreement, the supplier and the relevant staff shall be security-approved for service use (TTJ), which must be maintained for the duration of the contract. The framework agreement shall include works as set out in Section 2, technical requirements. When employing new personnel who will work on the vessels of the Navy, the supplier must demonstrate that security clearance is put into operation immediately upon employment.
