. The building complex, consisting of the municipal theatre and sports hall on the Europaring in Ratingen, is to be comprehensively renovated and brought up to a sustainable standard.

In the subproject Stadttheater (TH), the existing building pollutants are renovated, exterior windows and doors are renewed, a large part of the surfaces in the interior as well as the building services equipment are renewed.

Sub-project sports hall (SH), reinforced concrete components will be repaired, the existing building pollutants will be rehabilitated, exterior windows and doors will be renewed, and a large part of the surfaces in the interior as well as the building services equipment will be renewed. Furthermore, the subsequently added foyer will be dismantled and a new foyer area will be built in its place.
