This contract is for the provision of a fully comprehensive service and maintenance package for closed-circuit television (CCTV) and associated security systems located throughout the West Midlands region that is the responsibility of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) and Midland Metro Limited (MML). A single specialist provider is required for an initial period of 3 years with an option for a further 2 x twelve months extensions, subject to performance.

The successful contractor shall formulate an annual programme of works which forecasts the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) for all hardware and software that forms part of the WMCA CCTV and associated security systems estate as well as the day-to-day service and repair of all CCTV and associated security systems (hardware and software).

Further investment in new technology and improvements to the current monitoring services is expected to continue throughout the duration of this service and maintenance period.
