Technical planning of technical equipment - plant group 6 - for the new construction of the Schwetzingen bicycle and pedestrian bridge

The city intends to build a new Schwetzingen bicycle and pedestrian bridge. The new bridge is to cross the 10-track railway line of DB Netz AG (Rheintaltrasse) and provide a more traffic-friendly connection between the districts east of the railway facilities (Oststadt, Schwetzinger Höfe) and the city centre of Schwetzingen.

In November 2020, Schüßler-Plan Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH and DKFS architects LTD carried out a feasibility study on behalf of the city for the construction of the new bridge. On this basis, the city obtained a provisional grant decision from the Federal Office for Goods Transport - funding code VBIMV 1930 - dated 17.12.2021 with provisionally determined total eligible expenses of EUR 11,595,753.12 and a maximum grant amount of EUR 9,276,602.50.

The subject of the contract is the technical planning of technical equipment - plant group 6 for the new Schwetzingen bicycle and pedestrian bridge of the city of Schwetzingen. The subject of the technical planning is the elevator systems in the abutment area (including control and supply). The assignment takes place in stages.
