Nordland County, Transport and Infrastructure Department, c/o the Section for Building and Property as the contracting authority, invites tenderers to a contest for a builder ombudsman assignment (BHO) in accordance with NS 8403.

The work comprises the construction of a new hall for construction subjects as a turnkey contract. (NS8407: 2011).

The new building will, besides the actual production hall, include the necessary accompanying areas for toilets, cloakrooms, showers, offices, meeting rooms, sawing rooms, concrete laboratory, drying room, technical room, etc. In addition a fenced in and illuminated workshop courtyard is to be established for production, set-up, and storage.

The existing parking area that will be cleared to make room for the new workshop courtyard is to be re-established with 30 parking places. An option price must be given for the establishment of a footpath between the new building and the existing college buildings, as well as for a concrete slab on the ground in the workshop courtyard as a production and set-up area for students' work. 

The tender enquiry for the turnkey contract will form the basis for this tender enquiry in accordance with the builder ombudsman (NS 8403).

If required, a site inspection will be held at West Lofoten Sixth Form College, Leknes. If this is the case, a separate message will be sent with the date and time. The minutes from the site inspection will be part of the tender documentation. The contracting authority will keep minutes from the site inspection, and the minutes will be published as part of the tender documentation.
