Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) operates 15 memorial sites in Europe, two of which are the Canadian

National Vimy Memorial and the Beaumont-Hamel Newfoundland Memorial. To maintain these two sites and sustain daily operations, VAC relies on the services of a local employment service agency to augment the Canadian-based staff in the areas of administration and maintenance.
