As part of this procurement process, the European Central Bank ("ECB") is looking for a supplier to carry out work related to the maintenance of the office façade of the high-rise building (Lot 1), the façade of the atrium (Lot 2) and the façade of the wholesale market hall (Lot 3) of the ECB's main building ("MB").

The successful bidder will be responsible for several works and services in the field of façade maintenance, including the inspection and maintenance of the various types of façades of the towers and the Grossmarkthalle, repair work and incident management, coordination and supervision of inspections in accordance with German legal regulations and the various approvals in individual cases – ZiEs, for the glass structures.

The main purpose of the planned framework contract for Lot 1 is to provide maintenance and services to the ECB for the office façade of the North (HN) and South (HS) high-rise of the ECB's main building (EQ).

The main purpose of the envisaged framework contract for Lot 2 is to provide maintenance and services to the ECB for the north and south façades of the Atrium (HA) high-rise and the interior façade of the atrium (HA) of the ECB's main building.

The main purpose of the planned mandate for Lot 3 is to provide maintenance and services to the ECB for the following facades of the ECB's main building:

— the façade of the above-mentioned connecting building and the winding walkway above ('loop');

— façade of the entrance building above and through the Grossmarkthalle (GH);

— the interior façades of the conference centre in the Grossmarkthalle;

— new entrance façade of the Grossmarkthalle;

— reconstructed historical façade and glass roof of the Grossmarkthalle;

— Façade of the East (GE) and West (GW) front buildings of the Grossmarkthalle.
