In this selection guide, a clear framework and careful procedure for the testing and assessment of initiative plans have been worked out. This gives initiators a clear picture to submit appropriate plans. A 5-member assessment committee makes a selection from the initiative plans. Based on the assessment, the municipality of Beuningen decides which initiators can apply for an environmental permit (25 years).

The Municipality of Beuningen invites initiators (development parties) to submit plans for solar parks with a maximum size of 10 hectares (net, panels and installations). The current policy ceiling for the development of solar parks in the Kommen area is 40 hectares.
