At the beginning of the 2023/2024 school year, the city of Elsdorf intends to award a service contract to provide meals for pupils at the Elsdorf comprehensive school (grades 5 to 13) and children in the municipal day-care centres (currently 5).

The object of the order is the provision, delivery, distribution and return of the containers of prepared food (so-called. "Cook & Chill") in the canteen of the comprehensive school as well as the provision and delivery of such food to the daycare centers for distribution by the forces of the institutions. The technical equipment of the cafeteria kitchen can be used for the preparation and distribution to the students. If desired, you can also cook fresh there.

For the implementation of the catering order, a company is sought that meets the requirements of a timely and age-appropriate, balanced lunch tasting and is oriented towards the food preferences of children and young people.

The contract is to be awarded in a two-stage procedure as a negotiated procedure with participation competition (VgV). To do so, candidates must submit a request to participate. If they are admitted, they may submit an initial offer (possibly a follow-up offer and final offer) as tenderers in the negotiated procedure itself.
