The acquisition is the subject of a pre-treatment building to be built at the Nivala treatment plant.

The work includes earthworks and construction, machinery and pipelines, plumbing and electrical works, and process instrumentation to the extent specified in the procurement documents.

The main contractor acts as the general contractor under YSE 1998 and is also the principal executor under VNA 205/2009 with responsibility for the safety of the construction work. Includes alterations to the Raudaskylä treatment plant, acquisition of line pumping stations and pressure keeping well, and submission in accordance with tender documents.

Nivala's pre-treatment work includes the implementation of the project up to the limit marked in the plans.

The contractor's performance includes all the work and measures necessary to fully complete the work.
