The assignment involves assisting the municipality with legal services, including advice, acting as counsel in litigation and legal disputes, drafting and interpretation of agreements.
The positions require knowledge and experience of legal issues in requested areas as well as negotiation and/or procedural skills. The services involve oral or written advice. Some assignments may involve more extensive investigations. Assignments are specified denominator in connection with call-offs.
In any proceedings before a court or arbitration tribunal, the municipality must be represented by a lawyer. If more than one lawyer is to represent the municipality, this may only be done after specific/written approval from the municipality.
