Through this contract, the contracting authority aims to procure services for application development and integration for use by the Norwegian Armed Forces [Forsvaret] and the Norwegian Defence Material Agency [Forsvarsmateriell]. The services are in continuous development and expansion as a part of property management and the implementation of investment projects.

The contract will ensure that the Contracting Authority has access to competence that makes it possible to develop and further develop applications and integration systems in the Norwegian Armed Forces' information structure, so that they always meet the current operative requirements and needs for availability, functionality, and security.

The Norwegian Armed Forces' ICT portfolio is very comprehensive and consists of many different programmes and systems that build on different technologies and programming languages. It is very important that the chosen tenderer has broad competence and experience within the required areas of expertise and subject categories.
