The project is part of Metsäkeskus's digital map and a key point in the digitalisation of Metsäkeskus's services. The project aims to obtain a modern, easy-to-use and reliable application that enables Metsäkeskus's efficient off-road work.
In the delivery project phase, the Data Collection Application will replace the application currently used in the collection of forest resources and wildlife data, as well as implementing new functionality for quality assurance of forest reserve patterns. In the further development phase, the development of the application is possibly continued with functionality related to the preparation of environmental support and natural management projects. The functionalities to be implemented in the further development phase become more precise when the delivery project ends.
The data collection application must be in use during the 2023 terrain period, no later than May 1, 2023 onwards.
