The BVG requires support services for the reading of subscription order forms for the period 01.02.2024 to 31.01.2025 plus the option to continue until 31.01.2026 at the latest
Tasks include:
- Recording and plausibility check of subscription applications in paper form and transmission to the client
- Recording and plausibility check of incoming mail for subscriptions and company tickets and transmission to the client ("open mail" and "completed mail")
- Recording and plausibility check of "paper" photos and transmission to the client
- Setting up a web portal solution for customer photos for certain tariff offers as well as hosting, maintenance and further development of this web portal solution until the introduction of "Abo Online"
- Setting up a web portal solution for uploading required evidence for certain tariff offers as well as hosting, maintenance and further development of this web portal solution up to the introduction of "Abo Online" as well as for mass promotions
- An Android app for capturing customer photos for the employees of the client as well as maintenance and further development
- Examination of subscription applications for a portal solution of the client (external validator)
Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) is the largest municipal transport company in Germany. As a future-oriented company, BVG wants to offer its customers the best possible service in terms of the provision of subscriptions. For this purpose, in addition to the two application options paper and online, we also offer our customers the option of handing over photos and proofs both paper-based and electronically.
A service provider is being sought for this service as part of the tender. As of 31.12.2022, there were up to around 1.1 million subscribers. Due to the attractive tariff offers, the trend is still rising.
Most of the data records must be collected by an external service provider.
The contractor has to provide the following services:
1. Recording and plausibility check of subscription applications in paper form and transmission to the client
2. Recording and checking the plausibility of incoming mail for subscriptions and company tickets and transmission to the client ("open mail" and "completed mail")
3. Collection and plausibility check of "paper" photos and transmission to the client
4. Setting up a web portal solution for customer photos for certain tariff offers as well as hosting, maintenance and further development of this web portal solution
5. Setting up a web portal solution for uploading required evidence for certain tariff offers as well as hosting, maintenance and further development of this web portal solution as well as for mass actions
6. An Android app for capturing customer photos for the client's employees as well as maintenance and further development
7. Examination of subscription applications for a portal solution of the client (external validator)
The contract will initially be concluded for the period from 01.02.2024 to 31.01.2025, the BVG may extend the contract for a maximum of a further twelve (12) months until 31.01.2026.
