For the operation of 6 hydrogen buses from the manufacturer Van Hool, the Barnimer bus company is looking for a supplier for the supply of green hydrogen. The Barnimer bus company will start operating its own 350 bar hydrogen filling station from December 2022, thereby supplying the 6 hydrogen buses. The filling station is supplied by the manufacturer Wystrach. It comprises a refueling unit and 2 storage or transport units.

The supplier must collect the storage units from the BBG depot in Bernau (Carl-Friedrich-Benz-Straße 1) and fill them with green hydrogen. The storage unit is transported back to the depot in a cycle of 2 to 3 days. When the refilled storage unit is delivered, the storage units are exchanged and the supplier then transports the second storage unit back to the hydrogen plant for filling.
