The contracting authority intends to award a contract for the implementation of a factorial survey on presenteeism behaviour as part of a follow-up survey of the BIBB/BAuA Employment Survey 2024.
The survey is part of the project F 2561 "Presenteeism - A negative side effect of digital working environments?", the aim of which is to gain insights into the extent to which employees show (virtual) presenteeism and for what reasons it occurs. A special focus here is on working from home. In doing so, the existing state of knowledge on the possible negative health and organizational consequences of presenteeism should also be taken into account as a framework.
The contractor will be obliged to conduct a self-administered factorial survey as an online survey (Computer Assisted Web Interview, CAWI) of 8,000 employees in order to investigate the question of why employees show presenteeism in the digital work context, i.e. decide to work (from home) despite illness and which factors are decisive here.
