The Erftverband intends to carry out sewer rehabilitation and extensive renewal measures for the second construction phase on the sewer network in Meckenheim, in the "Alt-Meckenheim" area, in main and side streets.

At the same time, the drinking water pipes in various areas will be renewed for Stadtwerke Meckenheim (separate client: Stadtwerke Meckenheim). This is a Community measure.

Lot 1 (canal construction):

- approx. 52 pipe renewals Da 280 to Da 450 HDPE solid wall pipes, as well as DN 500 to DN 900 PEHD winding pipes for combined sewers, altogether approx. 1,480 m, mainly in double trenches

- Approx. 28 selective main sewer renovations in a small excavation pit

- Renew approx. 271 HA pipes using the cut-and-cover method, Da 160-225 PEHD, together approx. 1,600 m.

- approx. 57 shaft renewals, of which approx. 51 shafts DN 1000, 6 shafts DN 1500
