Description:
Equipment for laser-induced plasma spectroscopy coupled to a glove box

The CEA wishes to acquire laser-induced plasma spectroscopy equipment, known as LIBS, ("Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy") coupled to a glove box (BAG) under argon. The sample and some of the equipment will be placed in a glove box under an argon atmosphere to allow the analysis of hydrogen, lithium, boron, nitrogen, oxygen, and sulfur present in the samples.

This LIBS will be dedicated mainly to the analysis of light elements contained in samples such as thin films, powders, sintered ceramics, inorganic/organic composites.

One of the main objectives is to be able to automatically perform hyperspectral chemical imaging over the entire surface of a 100 x 100 mm² substrate.

This equipment will have to be modular (configuration scalable over time) to allow in particular to change or add different spectrometers (including a spectrometer in the UV).
