Staffordshire Moorlands District Council have been allocated funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund for the purposes of:
1. the development and promotion of wider campaigns which encourage people to visit and,
2. the development and promotion (both trade and consumer) of the visitor economy
The UK government Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) has launched the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) which succeeds the European Union structural funds (ERDF and ESF).
The primary goal of the UKSPF is to build pride in place and increase life chances across the UK. There are three UKSPF investment priorities:-
• Communities and place;
• Supporting local business; and
• People and skills
The contract to be delivered on an annual budget basis upto 31 March 2025
Consultancy appointment as per the Specification brief for the delivery of;
1. the development and promotion of wider campaigns which encourage people to visit and,
2. the development and promotion (both trade and consumer) of the visitor economy
