Design and Build contract for:
• The compliance of 7.5m shoulder on both sides of the track bringing the total width of the track to 60m.
• The construction principle adopted must avoid soil erosion and must allow the circulation of intervention vehicles as well as the runway exit of an aircraft without damage to it to allow its return to the runway;
• The punctual reinforcement of the runway strip lift to the right of the technical equipment (buoyage chamber, draining) in the area between the shoulder edge and the limit of the runway strip;
• The realization of shoulder edge drainage, including the related hydraulic study up to airport exit discharges;
• Replacement of runway edge gutters;
• The temporary installation of marking equipment;
• The final installation of marking equipment;
• Studies relating to the compliance of shoulders, taking into account the existing terrain, aeronautical constraints (stability study, establishment of land plans, longitudinal and cross-profiles, etc.).
The project includes all the works, supplies and services necessary for the perfect realization of the works subject to the Contract and the perfect functioning of the work in compliance with the Regulations, the rules of the art and the documents of the contract.
The work is to be carried out on an operating airport site.
This work will be planned and carried out at night, taking into account the presence, in the vicinity of the work, of operating manoeuvring and parking areas as well as adjoining roads that are heavily used by handling vehicles and aircraft.
Detailed planning must be approved prior to work by the construction management and the airport authority.
The primary and secondary connector work as well as the associated wiring work of the lighting are inseparable and must be carried out by a single contractor.
