Andøy Municipality must construct a new municipal waterworks for the districts of Fornes, Meby and Forfjord at Hinnøya.

This will occur (on the condition of political decisions concerning financing) in the period of autumn 2019 until the end of 2021, with a commissioning period from 1.1.2022 until 1.7.2022.

The works are set up as three contracts. There are 2 water and sewage system contracts and one turnkey contract for a water treatment plant including process (this).

This turnkey contract includes ground works, site-internal water and sewage technical works and water treatment plant process. The water treatment process consists of pre-treatment with automatic pressure screen, disinfection with UV filtration and with chlorine as a reserve disinfection, as well as alkali silicate dosing. This contract also includes building erection.
