The district of Mühldorf am Inn is planning the expansion of the grammar school on the property Fl. No. 501 of the district Waldkraiburg, Ritter-v.-Glück-Weg 3a, in 84478 Waldkraiburg, in order to meet the additional space requirements of the expected higher number of students from 2025.

The Gymnasium Waldkraiburg is a linguistic as well as a scientific-technological grammar school. It must be designed 4.5 times.

8 classrooms are to be built in a two-storey building in timber modular construction or prefabricated timber construction/timber frame construction (due to tight schedule with a high degree of prefabrication). Classic closed classrooms are to be planned.

The future access is to be via an extension of the corridor at the existing simple sports hall. A new cold aisle to be built above it on the existing flat roof is to ensure accessibility.

For fire protection reasons, the main staircase is expected to be built in solid construction. Another stair tower in steel construction should be able to be used as a second structural escape route.

A later renovation of the old building as well as further extensions are planned in the next few years and are taken into account in the planning of the extension.

The outdated caretaker's apartment will be demolished and the resulting open space will be redesigned.
