The VRN is already developing and operating an electronic, multimodal mobility platform (EMP). In this, data from both municipalities and different mobility providers are brought together and made available in information systems.
Data on sharing mobility, parking lots, multi-storey car parks, P+R spaces, etc. are currently already available in the interactive map of emp (VRN | Timetable & Booking - Map) maintained and displayed. Currently, the interactive map lists 899 parking spaces. Of these, 9 parking spaces in Baden-Württemberg are equipped with P+R sensors. However, the existing parking space data is incomplete and is not yet available to MobiData BW.
The overall project aims to open up further data and interfaces, to make the existing data available to MobiData BW, to complete existing data, to record missing data in the four Baden-Württemberg districts of the network area, to provide maintenance and analysis tools and to sensitize municipal representatives and task carriers for the maintenance and use of the data.
In July 2021, verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar completed the Minerva BW project. Minerva BW is designed as a data platform for providing data for MobiData BW. The Minerva BW platform has now been expanded and expanded and taken over under the name "VRN Data Room Mobility" in operational operation. The VRN data room mobility is to be expanded in the course of the project to include data and interfaces.
