In the electricity sector, approximately 120,000 Ferraris meters are to be replaced with modern metering equipment in the Regionetz grid area over the term of the framework agreement (5 years). In this context, approx. 80,000 house connections are to be checked and an additional approx. 30,000 initial meter installations are to be carried out, including all related services. The client intends to award the entire service to two framework contract partners. If two framework contractors are selected on the basis of the quantity, the contracting authority will aim for an equal distribution of 50%/50% in terms of quantity in the distribution of the collective contracts. The scope of services includes all services that are necessary for a flawless review or processing in accordance with the recognized rules of the contract, regardless of whether this is mentioned or described in the contract offer.

In the gas division, approximately 50,000 gas meters in the Regionetz grid area are to be replaced over the term of the framework agreement (5 years). In this context, about 50,000 house connections are also to be checked. Furthermore, over the term of the framework agreement (5 years), approx. 54,500 water meters are to be replaced in the water division and an additional approx. 120 initial meter installations are to be carried out, including all related services.

As the basic metering point operator, Regionetz GmbH is responsible for the rollout of intelligent metering systems (iMsys) in the electricity division in accordance with the Metering Point Operation Act (MsbG) in its grid area. Intelligent metering systems consist of a state-of-the-art electricity metering device and a smart meter gateway. Both devices must be connected to each other to create an intelligent metering system.

The installation of approx. 28,500 intelligent metering systems (iMsys) including all related services for the electricity division is scheduled to take place by December 2028. Modern facilities with and without gateway will be installed. The client intends to award the entire service to two framework contract partners. If two framework contractors are selected on the basis of the quantity, the contracting authority will aim for an equal distribution of 50%/50% in terms of quantity in the distribution of the collective contracts. The order processing takes place exclusively in the software "Lovion" and is provided by the client. This service is to be fulfilled by a framework contract partner.

Furthermore, approx. 8,400 separate house connection checks (with a casual controller data recording) must also be carried out, including all related services. This service is to be fulfilled by a framework contract partner. The order processing takes place exclusively in the software "Lovion" and is provided by the client.
