Procurement intends to create a new maritime quay in the Quarleshaven in Vlissingen-Oost. The new maritime quay should be connected to the existing quay of Shipyard Reimerswaal and has a total length of approximately seven hundred ninety-five (795) metres and the entire quay receives a standard quay load of five (5) tonnes per m2. The Quarleskade is multifunctional and made suitable for multiple types of ships such as project cargo vessels, jack-up vessels, bulk ships, fruit hunters, tankers and inland waterways. The port needs to be dredged on site, for ships with a draft of 12 and a half (12.5) metres to ensure that the Quarleskade is future-proof.

Work should be carried out in a phased manner to ensure the operation of the present.
