The building complex consisting of the municipal theatre and sports hall on the Europaring in Ratingen is to be comprehensively renovated and brought up to a sustainable standard.

In the subproject Stadttheater (TH), the existing building pollutants are renovated, exterior windows and doors are renewed, a large part of the surfaces in the interior as well as the building services equipment are renewed.

In the sports hall (SH) subproject, reinforced concrete components are repaired, the existing building pollutants are renovated, exterior windows and doors are renewed, and a large part of the surfaces in the interior and the building services equipment are renewed. In addition, the retrofitted foyer will be dismantled and a new foyer area will be built in its place.

Rainwater drainage theatre and sports hall:

- approx. 300 m of pipelines DN 80 - DN 300 inside the buildings

- approx. 220 m underground pipes DN 100 - DN 300 outside the buildings

- Connection of approx. 40 on-site spouts and roof drains
