For the economic reorganization of the Southwest hospital network, the hospital sites in Böblingen and Sindelfingen will be merged into a new building on the airfield site in Böblingen. The task was to combine the medical concerns of a large hospital with its close functional relationships with the urban planning context, based on the results of the urban planning ideas competition. The connections to Böblingen station/city center, as well as the central idea of urban planning and urban development, are to be seamlessly taken into account and integrated into the planning area in the planning process. A house with approximately 700 beds and 15 operating rooms (including 2 reserve areas) is planned.
The subject of the procurement are laboratory benches/cabinets/shelving systems, washer-disinfectors, hazardous materials cabinets, media columns and cold rooms including cooling technology.
