EVO AG operates, among other things, a waste-to-heat power plant (MHKW) for the disposal of municipal and commercial waste on the site at Dietzenbacher Straße 189, 63069 Offenbach am Main. The waste disposal residues produced during incineration, known as slag, are fed to the slag bunker via a wet slag remover, in which it is temporarily stored for further processing.

EVO AG currently operates two slag cranes from Stahlbau Lavis from 1969 to remove the slag. Due to its age and increased susceptibility to failure, the AG intends to renew the slag crane plant.

As part of this tender, EVO AG intends to award the renewal of two slag cranes at the Offenbach waste-to-energy plant in the construction period autumn 2022
