With respect to Guidance from the European Commission on using the public procurement framework in the emergency situation related to the Covid-19 crisis (2020/C 108 I/01) Barking and Dagenham College wishes to make use of the options and flexibilities available under the EU public procurement framework for the purchase of the supplies, services and works on the basis of urgency.
The College intends to procure complex advanced engineering systems for its Institute of Technology which must be fully operational for staff and students prior to the start of new academic year in August 2020 and crucial programme delivery.
The College understands that the manufacturing process for our tender requirement is extensive and protracted; it is likely to involve oversees production and shipment.
