The new building of the University Heart Center is planned on the site of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. This comprises 10 levels - 6 upper floors as full floors (ground floor to 5th floor) and 3 basement floors (SG, U1 and U2). On the ceiling of the 5th floor there is a recessed technical center and installation areas for building services and information technology systems.

The latter are the subject of this tender and include:

1. Line network and distributor: EV, around 50 DA 33 pieces; GHV, around 1500 DA 1 piece; various distribution boards; communications system and bus lines, approx. 470 km,

2. Structured networking / passive components: GDV distribution cabinets including equipment, around 16 pieces; IT distribution cabinets including equipment, around 150 pieces; Junction boxes Cat. 6/7, around 8,600 pieces; FO junction boxes or splice distribution unit, around 300 pieces; Copper / fiber optic cable, approx. 160 km,

3. Nurse call system: for 19 nursing wards, including 3 functional areas, connection of around 1,000 patient beds,

4. Clock system: Master clock (DCF 77) with around 450 slave clocks,

5. Fire alarm system: fire alarm center; Detector groups IN / 2 relays OUT around 150 pieces; automatic detectors around 4,000 pieces; Push button alarms, around 380 pieces,

6. Media technology: flat screen, around 110 pieces; DLP laser projector, around 5 pieces; 19-inch cabinet, approx. 18 pieces,

7. Patient media system: installation of patient terminals, around 650 pieces.
